Rotary valves are installed under silos and bunkers to relieve the silo pressure on the bulk material. Another area of application is the relief of downstream discharge devices such as screw conveyors, trough chain conveyors, pipe chain conveyors or discharge belt weighers.
The inlet of the rotary valve is eccentrically arranged so that the rotary valve is also suitable for granulate.
The outlet diameter is larger than the inlet diameter. All walls are without slopes so that the product can flow out unhindered. Blocking of the rotary valve by deposited product between the rotary valve and the bearing cover is, therefore, not possible.
The inlet and outlet are designed as DIN flanges, so that no special adapters are required for the connections. Thanks to a sensibly selected gradation of the volume capacity per revolution, it is always possible to select the optimum rotary valve size at a favourable speed.
