Every knocker requires a solenoid valve to supply it with compressed air. The compressed air supply is provided by a compressed air maintenance unit and an electrically controlled 3/2-way solenoid valve. Only a 3/2-way valve can release the pressure when not activated, allowing the knocker to vent and return to its initial position.
