Which and how many knockers are required depends primarily on the silo size and sheet thickness. An interactive diagram in the online configurator shows the appropriate number and size. The second step is to define the application temperature. For applications at temperatures above 60 °C, the tool recommends knockers with aluminum pistons instead of plastic ones. Even for wall temperatures of up to 140 °C and special application situations, such as those involving aggressive dusts and vapors, the appropriate pneumatic knocker can be selected.
