The KSH sound insulation and protection hood is simply placed over the knocker and screwed onto the middle bolt of the knocker. The knocker can do its job without any reduction in impact effect –– only the noise level is reduced.
The contact surface of the hood adapts flexibly to the contours of the silo by means of a rubber edge protection profile. The sound insulation hood has a rubber grommet for the compressed air hose and a silencer for the escaping air.
Another advantage of the insulation hood is that it protects the knocker from corrosion in adverse conditions.
