material flow solutions
singold gerätetechnik

The Original: The world’s first and still most powerful pneumatic knocker was developed by singold gerätetechnik gmbh. For over 55 years, singold knockers have ensured optimal material flow in the building materials, chemical, and food industries, as well as many other sectors.

Another ingenious invention from singold’s engineers is the wear-free free-flow flap valve. Designed for the complete emptying of containers and silos, it even handles highly abrasive bulk materials. Within the industry, it is simply known by the nickname “the singold flap.”
singold gerätetechnik stands for expertise and experience in material flow solutions, and we manufacture exclusively in Germany—100% quality, Made in Germany. From expert technical advice to top-tier products and custom-made special designs, you get everything from a single source!
Our Pneumatic Knockers

Thor’s hammer among material flow solvers
We are the manufacturers of the original knocker, which is stronger than any hammer blow and eliminates material flow problems more reliably than any shaker or vibrator. Depending on the application we recommend:
- Our classic Pneumatic Knocker Type K for direct mounting on silos or;
- Our Distance Knocker Type QJ, which knocks from a distance
Pneumatic Knocker K
For direct mounting on silos

- Replaces the traditional silo hammer: Effective whenever a manual hammer would do the job.
- Powerful single impacts: Maximum impact with the lowest possible weight.
Pneumatic Distance Knocker QJ
Knocks from a distance

- Reliably removes product residue and caking in rotating drums.
- Ideal for rotary kilns, drum drying plants, and changing containers.
singold Flap Shutters
The singold flap valves are available in two versions: as a single flap valve for the rapid and residue-free emptying of containers, and as a double flap airlock for the batch-wise conveyance of bulk materials.
Free-flow Flap Shutter
Single Flap

- Unique mechanism: flap swings completely out of the product flow
- Bearings and joints are located outside the product flow
- Maintenace-free: nearly wear-free, even with highly abrasive materials

Double Flap Sluice
Combination of two free-flow flaps shutters

- Feeds products or bulk materials in batches into further processes or systems
- Can convey bulk materials to a different pressure level

Rotary Valve
Also suitable for granules

- Relieves the silo pressure from the bulk material
- Relieve downstream discharge devices such as screws, troughed chain conveyors, tube chain conveyors or discharging weighfeeders

About singold
In 1970, Dipl.-Ing. Erwin Lüer founded “singold gerätetechnik” in Hiltenfingen. Driven by a lack of suitable equipment for bulk solids plants, he decided to design and offer his own solutions.
Erwin Lüer invented and developed the world’s very first pneumatic knocker. Patents were granted for both the singold pneumatic knocker and the flap valve in the company’s early years. Today—over 55 years since their introduction—singold’s pneumatic knockers remain the most powerful on the market.
